Description

The Southern Resident orcas must consume thousands of salmon every year to survive; in turn salmon must eat thousands of forage fish; and forage fish need natural shorelines on which to lay their eggs.

Join Friends’ Science Director, Tina Whitman, on this trip through Cattle Pass to the Salmon Banks and Haro Strait to better understand these connections that are so important to the Salish Sea.

This micro-adventure boat tour will connect you to rarely seen locations and special experiences. With just 12 people aboard, tours are intimate and informed, providing in-depth knowledge while revealing the wonder of the islands. Sign up early! The $135 admission fee covers the cost of the boat and is not tax-deductible.
